Grants

The types of needs that we support

To help you understand whether your organisation meets the criteria for our grants, the full grant making policy is available at the bottom of this page. We have provided some key points below:

• The charity primarily focuses on making grants to UK mental health charities, and would not normally support applications from individuals, but can occasionally award grants outside of these priorities.

• The grant must support the direct provision of services which support those facing mental health issues.

• Grants awarded are usually between £500 - £5,000, with each application considered on its own merits.

• Grants are usually one-off rather than long-term.

• The Charity Trustees will usually award grants to fund up to 50% of the cost of a proposed activity.

How Grant Applications Are Considered

The Board of Trustees meets quarterly, in April, July, October and January, or more frequently if needed, to consider grant applications and applicants will be notified whether their request has been successful, or not, by email.

However, every effort will be made to meet urgent requests outside of these time frames.
